Our Headlands STEM Ambassadors
At Headlands CE JIN School, we have chosen 16 Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) Ambassadors. The children have been carefully chosen by Mrs Lewis, our STEM leader.
The responsibilities for their role include:
- to help organise and prepare science and maths equipment
- promote science across school
- prepare IT technology for use in lessons and other activities around school
- attend parents evenings to promote online safety resources
- be role models for safe and sensible use of IT in school and at home
- leading STEM assemblies
- helping to organise Science Week
Mrs Lewis meets regularly with the STEM ambassadors to discuss their role and consider how we can continue to improve all things STEM at Headlands School. Our ambassadors hold their post for one year and do an amazing job of supporting and promoting STEM across school.
